HURRICANE RELIEF SUPPORT
The Black Cultural Society of PEI is providing financial support* for members of PEI’s Black community who find themselves in need following the devastation of Hurricane Fiona. A maximum of $200 is available for individuals in need of assistance with grocery, transportation or medical expenses. Click the link below to access the simple application form.

Courtside Black Culture Bursary
The Courtside Black Culture Bursary is NOW OPEN. It will award $1000 (each) to three Black Prince Edward Island post-secondary students.

MISSION
With love: to serve, uplift, advocate for resources, and provide services to protect and strengthen the development of PEI’s Black community.
GOALS
- Support actions designed to improve and enhance the quality of life for the Black community of Prince Edward Island. (African descent, Caribbean descent, Latin American Descent, descendants of historical Black Islanders)
- Deliver services, programs, and initiatives to promote and advance racial understanding on behalf of people of African descent
- Create strategic partnerships with organizations and institutions to address systemic racism and social inequalities
