- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing, social media management, and content management systems.

As a videographer on the BCS team, you will play a pivotal role in capturing and sharing the stories, events, and experiences that shape our community, as presented through our Black History Month programming. We are seeking a strong passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the Black African diaspora community’s histories, cultures, and challenges. Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- proven experience in videography and video editing with a portfolio showcasing your work;
- proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools;
- strong cinematography skills, including the ability to shoot in various environments and conditions;
- excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- willingness to travel to events and locations as required.

- The specific details of each of these roles will be negotiated with each hiree respectively, based on their style of work and area of specialization.
- The approximate time frame for these positions will be between the months of December 2023 and February 2024 but will vary with each role. PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE NOT PERMANENT OR LONG-TERM POSITIONS.

- Compensation for all advertised positions will be negotiated with each hiree and is dependent upon the availability of sufficient program funding through grants and sponsorships. We anticipate that funds will be confirmed before the contracted start date of each position. We aim to compensate each position fairly and competitively.
