“Our Lives, Our Stories” is a drive-in Black Film Festival which will take place August 26, 28 and 29 in the Jones Building parking lot in Downtown Charlottetown. (This location is significant as it sits within the boundaries of Charlottetown’s historic Black community known as the Bog.)

The film festival will be a multi-night feature as part of the Art in the Open public art festival. Each night will be comprised of 90 to 120 minutes of films created by Black, Canadian filmmakers and curated by acclaimed filmmaker-writer-artist, Sylvia D. Hamilton (Halifax).
