Emancipation Day marks the abolition of slavery in the British Empire and provides an opportunity to reflect on the resilience, contributions, and achievements of Black communities while celebrating our rich cultures, histories, and shared future. This year’s celebration will bring together community members, families, organizations, businesses, artists, and allies for an afternoon of culture, connection, and celebration.
